Privacy Policy

Kenledge is a personal accounting app that has not launched yet. This page says what the waitlist at kenledge.app keeps about you. It is short because little is kept.

What We Keep

When you join the waitlist, we keep the email address you typed, your first name if you chose to give it, and the date and time you joined. We keep nothing else: no postal address, no phone number, and not the internet address of your device. If you visit the page without joining, we keep nothing at all. Cloudflare, as the network that serves the page, sees your device's internet address as every host does and handles it under its own policy; we do not receive it.

Why We Keep It

To send you one email when Kenledge launches, with your name on it if you gave one. We use the address and the name for nothing else: no newsletter, no offers, and no sharing or selling, ever.

How Long We Keep It

Until that email has been sent. Within 30 days of sending it, we delete the whole list. If Kenledge has not launched two years after you joined, we delete your address and name then. You can have them deleted sooner at any time; see below.

Who Sees It

The person who makes Kenledge reads the list to send that one email. The list is stored by Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts kenledge.app and keeps the list in its database on our behalf, on its servers in the United States, under its data processing terms; Cloudflare's privacy policy governs how it runs its service. No one else sees the list.

How We Protect It

What you type travels to us encrypted, since kenledge.app is served over HTTPS only. The list can be read only by the person who makes Kenledge, signed in to Cloudflare with two-step sign-in; no part of the page can read it, and nothing of it is ever shown on the site.

The Check Against Bots

Before an address is accepted, Cloudflare's Turnstile checks that a person rather than a program is joining. It runs in a small frame from Cloudflare's own address: your browser sends Cloudflare some information about itself, as it does whenever it loads a page Cloudflare hosts, and Cloudflare's privacy policy covers anything it keeps for the check. Turnstile gives us a yes or a no, and nothing about you.

Cookies and Tracking

This site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. It does not track you, here or anywhere else, so a Do Not Track signal from your browser changes nothing: there is nothing to turn off.

How to Be Taken Off

Write to hello@kenledge.app from the address you joined with, and we delete your address and name within a few days, no questions asked. The launch email will also carry a way to be taken off.

Your Rights

Wherever you live, you may ask what we hold about you, which is at most your address, your first name and the moment you joined, have a copy of it, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to the address below. We answer within 30 days. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another place whose law asks for a reason to keep your address, the reason is your consent: you give it by joining, and you may withdraw it at any time by asking to be taken off. Your address then travels to the United States, where Cloudflare keeps it for us as said above. You may also complain to your data protection authority, though we would rather hear from you first.

Children

The waitlist is not for children under 16, and we do not knowingly keep a child's address or name. If one reaches us, we delete it.

Changes to This Page

If this page changes, the new version appears here with its date at the top. We will not use your address or name for anything this page does not say without asking you first.

How to Reach Us
